I didn’t post anything yesterday because my time was completely consumed by this… Check that – my whole week was consumed by this. In the beginning, the plan was to stitch it with waxed linen thread. This Friday night during Art Crawl and all day Saturday, I will be joining [...] In progress. A custom strap for one of Huron. This is going to be something – stained shades of caramel and fudge with a silver buckle and concho. I’m hoping to have all the colour done today so I can start on the stitching tomorrow. Also up this week – I may learn [...] A couple new shots of the strap I’m working on… I’m trying to stick to the queue of orders I have lined up, but I’m really itching to start on the latest – the western guitar strap. Its order-er wants the liner to be a shade of maroon I can only acheive by staining veg-tanned leather, so I get to line the whole thing with [...] |
